Ask Bill Watterson

Some cool information about the upcoming Complete Calvin & Hobbes - it's going to have some new art and an introductory essay by Watterson. The publisher is also soliciting questions for Watterson from readers on their website (direct link to PDF); this involves dealing with paper and pen and something called the Post Office as no electronic submissions are being accepted. I have a question. What are Calvin's parents' names? Unless I read over them, I'm pretty sure that you didn't say.

P.S.- Thanks so much for writing Calvin and Hobbes. Whenever I'm bored, the several Calvin and Hobbes books that I own always give me laughs.

Hey, do you even read things, idiot? Here, lets just read the title, then post a comment.

Not only are no electronic submissions accepted, but this wouldn't be the place to submit them if they were.

Good god.

It's a shame I didn't find this until September.
Now I'll never be able to ask Bill "Why?" or "When?"
10 years after going exploring he hasn't done any of the things he complained about not be able to do concerning his creativity with his comic art. Not many people are lucky enough to create characters like Calvin and Hobbes and have so many fans that you can afford to 'retire' to just take things easy. There should be some kind of closure, like Calvin growing up and having his own son who has his own Hobbes and giving him the kind of grief he gave his parents or even being a single parent who shares his friend Hobbes and teaches him or her the same things he learned from Hobbes growing up. A one shot final book would go a long way to giving Bill Watterson the privacy he wants and the closure so many of his fans need.
Sorry Bob, but this IS my comment.
Everything I needed to know in life I learned from Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes.
I will buy the new collection as soon as it hits the shelves.
Thanks-
